To actually do it.

"If only" is a one bad phrase. You say “if only” to things you wish you'd done. To things you regret not doing. To things you know IF ONLY you'd done, would have altered outcomes of things. Been meaning to is equally as bad.

“I’ve been meaning to tell you that your daughter looks a bit off lately, but I never got to telling you,” you told your neighbour on the day her daughter died from overdose of Kopiko. Would've been better if you'd shut the hell up.

All is not lost though. "Been meaning to" usually means you can still act on it. It haven’t got to the stage of the eviler "if only's" Eg: Been meaning to try burger kucing. Today I’m stopping over at SPCA and get myself a cat to fry.

See?
Take actions. Do you what you've been meaning to do.

Kata orang, practice what you preach.
And, here goes: I’ve been meaning to start a blog for quite some time.
